The Egyptian Liver Hospital announced that it has obtained the ISO 9001 quality accreditation renewal certificate for three years after an external review by the certification company SGS. Professor Dr. Gamal Shiha, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dakahlia Liver Patients Care Association and the Egyptian Liver Hospital in Sherbin, said that the renewal of the ISO 9001 quality accreditation represents a confirmation of the hospital's policy aimed at improving the medical service provided to patients in conjunction with raising the level of administrative efficiency.
Dr. Gamal Shiha confirmed that the hospital is keen to conduct a comprehensive performance evaluation on a regular basis, and to work according to the administrative and medical standards followed in major hospitals inside and outside Egypt, which was witnessed by the team that undertook the review and evaluation work during more than one visit.
For their part, representatives of the SGS company, which granted the certificate, praised the hospital's management and all its employees for what they achieved during the emergency circumstances with the spread of the Covid 19 virus, and the optimal application of international medical and administrative quality standards
