Headed by Prof. Dr. Gamal Al-Obaidi, Professor of General Surgery, Gastrointestinal Surgery and Endoscopy at Mansoura Faculty of Medicine and former Director of the Center for Gastrointestinal Surgery and Liver Transplantation in Mansoura.

• Surgeries to remove liver tumors, colon tumors and pancreas
• Surgeries for morbid obesity
• Laparoscopic cholecystectomy
• Surgical treatment of diseases of the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, and colon
• Laparoscopic surgical operations of the digestive system

Morbid obesity

Given the danger posed by morbid obesity to the liver and the patient’s life, the Surgery Department has been interested in performing morbid obesity surgeries in cooperation with liver doctors.
