Letter of thanks and certificate of appreciation from Senegal to the Egyptian Liver Hospital

The Government of Senegal sent a letter of thanks to the Egyptian Liver Hospital, headed by Prof. Dr. Gamal Shiha, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Liver Patients Care Association in Dakahlia and the Egyptian Liver Hospital in Sherbin, for the excellent care provided to Senegalese patients who were treated at the hospital during the past period.

 

The Senegalese Embassy delegation, headed by Mohamed El-Amin Athi, presented during its visit to the Egyptian Liver Hospital a “letter of thanks” and a “certificate of appreciation” from the Senegalese government to Prof. Dr. Gamal Shiha, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Liver Patients Care Association in Dakahlia and the Egyptian Liver Hospital.

The head of the delegation said that within the framework of the distinguished relations between Egypt and Senegal, the Egyptian Liver Hospital in Dakahlia was chosen for its good reputation in the medical field for treating hepatitis viruses, liver diseases and tumors, to treat many Senegalese in the liver hospital who received the best care and attention

 

He also praised the work system in the Egyptian Liver Foundation and the quality of medical services it provides and expressed his admiration for the high and distinguished level in all sectors of the Egyptian Liver Foundation and the skill of its workers.

 

During the visit, the Senegalese delegation inspected the departments of the Egyptian Liver Hospital specialized in treating hepatitis viruses, liver diseases and tumors, the Technical Institute of Nursing in Sherbin, and the Higher Technological Institute for Health and Applied Sciences in Sherbin, which requested that Senegalese students be granted opportunities to study in a system at specialized scientific institutes.

 

For his part, Professor Dr. Gamal Shiha welcomed the visit for its important and significant role in developing relations Between the two countries and in cooperation between African countries between scientific and health institutions, stressing his welcome to receive students from the sons of Senegalese brothers to study in the institutes affiliated with the Egyptian Liver Foundation.

 

He said that it is our pleasure that the sons of Senegal integrate into the educational system affiliated with the Egyptian Liver Foundation and benefit from it, for the benefit of them and their country.

 

Professor Dr. Raifa Refaat Allam, Dean of the Technical Institute of Nursing in Sherbin, Professor Dr. Talal Ahmed Amer, Dean of the Higher Technological Institute for Health and Applied Sciences in Sherbin, a number of members of the Board of Directors and some specialists in diplomatic affairs and African relations between the two countries participated in receiving the Senegalese delegation.
