52 liver arterial injection surgeries, 48 ​​surgical operations, and 7,103 free examinations and analyses for the needy in March 2021

The Egyptian Liver Patients Care Association announced that the medical examination was conducted by the Liver Patients Care Association and its branches and the Egyptian Liver Hospital in Sherbin, on 4398 patients, 513 endoscopies were performed, 499 Fibroscan scans were performed, 694 ultrasound scans were performed, 71 X-rays were performed, and 362 CT scans were performed free of charge for the needy during the month of March 2021.

 

Professor Dr. Gamal Shiha, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Liver Patients Care Association in Dakahlia and the Egyptian Liver Hospital in Sherbin, confirmed that 52 arterial injection surgeries were performed for liver tumors and 48 various surgeries, including 22 cholecystectomy, 9 surgeries for morbid obesity, 6 liver tumor removal surgeries, 2 colon tumor removal surgeries, a case of surgical exploration, and 5 hernia surgeries.

 

He added that a medical analysis was conducted for 2705 patients and a bile duct endoscopy was performed for a number of 12 patients were treated, B1743 vaccination was provided, and various treatments were provided to 911 patients who were unable to afford it.
