Symptoms of Hepatitis C Infection

Most people with Hepatitis C do not exhibit symptoms. However, some individuals may experience symptoms ranging from mild to severe, including:

  • Flu-like symptoms.
  • Discomfort in the abdominal area.
  • Loss of appetite.
  • Nausea.
  • Vomiting.
  • Fatigue.
  • Weight loss.
  • Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes) occasionally.

These symptoms typically appear between two weeks to six months after infection, with an average onset of 6-9 weeks.
